Dearest Brent,

I woke up last night because of a foot cramp. I got up to use the toilet and drink more water, and massaged my foot like you said. When I returned to bed, that horrible air conditioning unit was back at it again. It seems Zack Knight's Jesuits haven't taken a vacation AT ALL. Apparently, they have been able to replace the new unit that you installed for me with another defective one. 

I went to my apartment manager's office today, but he wasn't there. According to his secretary, Bob has been on vacation. I asked her, "Out of curiosity, where did he go on vacation?" "He went to visit his mother in Tampa." I said, "That's an awful big coincidence. I just heard about a free cruise taking place with over a million people onboard the ship. I bet that's where he went. I couldn't blame him. It sounds awful nice." The secretary gave me a worried look. I believe she knew what I was getting on to. "I'm sorry ma'am, but I'm only telling you what he told me before he left. I can leave him a message for you if you'd like me to. He will be returning tomorrow." I said, "Tell Bob I need to speak with him at once about my air conditioning unit. In fact, I refuse to pay my rent until the unit is replaced. He told me he would fix my unit last month. The noise has been keeping me up at night. I can't concentrate on my work. I lead a very busy life." The woman's eyes darted around like two giant marbles. I could tell she was getting nervous, like she just wanted to shush me out of there real quick before I said anything else. "I will leave him a message from you then. He'll get back to you as soon as he can." I gathered my belongings and turned to leave. That unit started making noise the SPLIT SECOND I stepped inside my apartment. My eyes have been itching and watering like they're on fire. It's been like this for the past several hours. I can feel cramps in my joints coming on, that I suspect are being caused by the allergens, or perhaps a more powerful yeast, those Jesuits and my apartment manager have put inside my air conditioning unit. My head is pounding. I need to work on my book but with this migraine headache, I'll be bedbound if this continues. 

Have Vladimir investigate this matter immediately. I'm afraid that Zack Knight has gotten to Bob, my apartment manager.
