The Jesuits can't, for some reason, kill Gail remotely. They have to use indirect means of making Gail ill, and have thus begun a lifelong series of bodily disasters. Gail calls this "germ warfare".

Results of Germ Warfare

Allergies: Allergies are Gail’s most frequent complaint, aside from her yeast infection. Allergies cause problems with her concentrating and speaking, making it more difficult to fight the Jesuits. If her throat grows dry during a long video and she begins to cough, she assumes the Jesuits are trying to interrupt the video on purpose because they know how important it is. Jesuit agents roam Gail’s neighborhood shaking all of the trees to induce these terrible allergies. They have also used computer satellite technology to raise the pollen count in her area and exascerbate her condition even further. In addition to general allergies, Gail also believes she has many food allergies, including milk and gluten, which is half the reason she is on a very strict diet. See "food poisoning" below.

Breasts of unusual composition: In 1999 Gail was told by doctors that she had calcium deposits in her breasts and they needed to be biopsied to make sure it wasn’t breast cancer. Unfortunately Gail wasn’t worried enough because she is “used to negative reports on [her] mammograms”. She grew suspicious about being put under general anesthesia because she knew that as soon as she went under, Jesuit doctors would damage her body in secret.

Food Poisoning: Gail has to be very picky about what foods she buys from the grocery store because the Jesuits are always contaminating products in an attempt to make her sick. This is supposedly most of the reason why she is on a very strict diet and can't eat out anywhere.

Formaldehyde Poisoning: In 1998 the Jesuits contaminated Gail’s kitchen with high levels of formaldehyde to make her very sick. With a cheap testing kit she bought off the Internet (Jesuits inflated the price for an official kit to roughly $600 so she couldn’t afford it) she was able to discover this. Later she would go to see Dr. Allan Leiberman and ask to be tested for formaldehyde sensitivity. She believed he worked with the Jesuits somehow to cover it up.

Systemic Yeast Infection: This is Gail's primary complaint, and among the most bizarre. Generally speaking, when a woman says that she has a yeast infection she is talking about her vagina, since yeast infections tend to occur most commonly there. While Gail claims that she has a (permanent) vaginal yeast infection, she also claims that her infection goes beyond her vagina and and in fact, infects her entire body. Gail has gone to several doctors concerned about how to get rid of this yeast entirely from her body, complaining that they can't seem to do it and the yeast bacteria (actually a fungus) is "so stubborn". The Jesuits must have contaminated her with a very strong version of yeast that can't be killed. Currently Gail takes a lot of supplements in order to fight the yeast herself. Sometimes Gail claims she has a yeast allergy as well.

What Gail fails to realize is that yeast is a naturally occurring microorganism that exists in every part of the human body, only turning into an "infection" when it begins to grow out of control. While a systemic yeast infection is technically possible, it has a 50% mortality rate, so if not dead, Gail would probably be extremely ill if she really had that. In 2011 Brent Spiner sent Gail a message trying to explain this, and found himself being accused of being an imposter.

Itchiness: The Jesuits have on several occasions put itchy powder on the walkways outside Gail’s apartment to give her unbearably itchy feet.
