Refusing to believe that she is schizophrenic, Gail's conclusion about Seroquel is that it is a medication invented by Jesus to treat the special kind of yeast infection that only Gail has.
Known effects of Seroquel that Gail has presently experienced include better sleep, less manic thinking, and some weight gain. The drug has not removed her delusions. Further information regarding its effects on her psychology and behavior are only speculation at this time and have yet to be fully explored. Gail talks fondly of Seroquel and feels that it improves her quality of life overall.
Seroquel Quotes
Seroquel is Gail's best friend.
“As far as the problems I am having with Seroquel. I believe that when I took the extended release Seroquel, that the yeast started outsmarting the medicine and ran to parts of my body where it was “safe” like my eyes and bowels. Seroquel mostly works on the brain cells, so it was flushing the yeast from my brain cells and the yeast figured out they could find safe haven in my eyes and bowels. I did get a slight relapse of diarrhea yesterday. Once the Seroquel started “wearing off” during the morning and afternoon, the yeast that escaped to my eyes, went back to the brain and had fun. The yeast found a way to remain in my body, despite the Seroquel. I’m not saying the Seroquel was not working, because it was eliminating the yeast, but the yeast got smart and found a way to make the elimination process slower for them.”

“I believe that some of the yeast that is going into my bloodstream from the release of yeast toxin from the intestinal cells are LIVE YEAST. So, this explains the feelings of relapse of yeast infection that I'm experiencing lately. I had such a serious infection, with yeast everywhere, that the release of the yeast and their toxins has been a rather uncomfortable experience.”

“I've noticed that Jesus has increased my Seroquel because of this. They have me on extended release 200 mg now (same as what I had in the hospital), whereas this past month I just took immediate release 200 mg Seroquel, that I broke up into two halves, to spread it out, because I couldn't handle taking it all at once. Too much yeast toxins into my bloodstream all at once.”

“The reason I feel sick when I eat chicken broth is because there's something in chicken or bird products that takes yeast toxin out of my intestinal cells. I have discovered that chicken, especially in broth form, acts like Seroquel for my intestines.”
