Sandra Metcalf is Gail's younger sister and the current caretaker of Gail's adult son Erich. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia with Erich and her husband. Sandra is a quirky woman that, like Gail, concedes to play Pokemon for Erich's sake and attends Pokemon and Nintendo conventions with Erich as his ride and chaperone.

Ashamed of Gail, Sandra requested that Gail never mention she ever had a sister. Gail faithfully honored Sandra's request and did not reveal any information about her existence until 2012 when the Jesuits were forced to look deeper into the mysterious woman after she had committed several felonies in an attempt to bully Gail.

Family Reunion

In May 2012, Gail made the risky journey to fly out to Atlanta to see her son, Erich, graduate. Gail, hopeful and ready to behave in front of her relatives for the sake of her son, did a Jesus approved job of being normal. However, over the course of the vacation, Sandra began to tease and bully her sister, eventually resulting in open mocking in front of her friends and husband. This made Gail very upset. Not wanting to say anything bad about Sandra, however, Gail continued to be polite, never mentioning her name, or even the relationship of this relative (simply referring to her as "my relative" when confiding in her friends on the forum, and even privately in her e-mails to Brent). Her men politely followed in kind. However, Gail was visibly downtrodden when she finally returned home. Her men paid her family a visit in their supersonic jet to make Gail feel better.

False Imprisonment Scandal

In August 2012, embarassed by Gail for the last time, Sandra falsified evidence of Gail planning to harm herself in order to obtain a Baker Act and have Gail forcefully committed into a mental institution.

Making matters worse, Sandra used Misao Satake, Gail's Mother, as an unwitting instrument in completing the felony. After falsifying evidence to the case, Sandra emotionally manipulated Misao into signing her name on the story as a witness and submitting it to a local judge, saying it was her statement. Misao, who is Japanese, struggles to read and write English, and in a later call admitted she had no idea what the letter even said or what the Baker Act would actually do.
